Dina and the Congo: The Great Silence

We read in 'Genesis' of the rape of Dina, Jacob's only daughter, and the admirable but complicated reaction of her brothers. Yet we don't hear Dina's own story. In the Congo, sexual violence is used as an instrument of war. Many many thousands of women and children have been raped, but we don't hear their stories either. We will study the passage and learn about action to support the women of the DRC.
